There are approximately a google* of websites out there. Most of them are trying desperately to sell you something.
Of course we sell books, but it's the books themselves, not the selling of them that is the consuming passion.
We'd like our site to be the one you come back to when you're looking for a book, but we'd like people to come back
again, just like you'd come back to the bookshop itself.
The website needed more content. It needed more frequent updates than the average bookshop site. We've got a calendar, The Annotated Browser etc., but there was a big hole... and then we thought about what we sell.
So we have these fiction pages. We will add new stories whenever we can. In the future we may even start a good old fashioned serial. Enjoy!
